Our Story

Vogel & Thomas Mercantile, est. 2018, is a family owned and operated general merchandise store located on historic main street in Corning, IA. Our store is a work in progress. We are restoring our building to its original condition with exposed the brick walls and the original wood floors. Our goal to create a shopping experience that takes you down memory lane. A unique place where the past meets the present.  

While shopping at Vogel & Thomas Mercantile, you'll find antiques, primitives, collectibles and unique one-of-a-kind finds.  amongst the rustic pieces and old wooden floors. 

We believe in good, old-fashioned friendly customer service. We value and appreciate all of our customers and work very hard to earn your business. Our goal is to make you a happy customer in hope that you will tell others about us!

If you're ever in town, we would love for you to stop by and say hi! We're located at 702 Davis Ave., Corning, IA. We are open to the public Friday 9am - 4pm and Saturday 9am - 3pm. Our online store is open 24 hours a day!
